Anthony

Anthony is a handsome teddy bear of a cat, but it has taken him a long road to get here. Anthony was found scared and alone outside, and almost certainly had been abandoned. When he first came to Cameron Animal Rescue he was heartbreakingly thin and had a collar embedded in his neck. After months of treatment, Anthony has fully recovered, regained his strength and his confidence, and is ready for his forever home.

Anthony loves attention – he loves to be pet and cuddled and held, and just generally loves being around people. He decidedly does NOT like dogs, and he can be equivocal about other cats- he doesn’t like being jumped on or chased, but he is ok with other calm cats who leave him alone. Anthony does enjoy being the center of attention. He likes to play, and especially chasing ribbon toys. But he is equally happy to cuddle on the couch and relax.

Anthony is approximately 3 years old and is healthy. He is neutered, is FeLV/FIV negative, and has been fecal tested and fully dewormed. He has received his full series of FVRCP (distemper) and Rabies vaccines. He has been tested for Feline Bartonella. He is microchipped.
