The rescue focuses on helping animals who face significant medical challenges, limited shelter access, or urgent rescue needs, with priority given to animals from Montclair and surrounding communities.

Rescue Funding Why We Need Your Support
The rescue efforts of Cameron Animal Hospital have been primarily self-funded for decades, but with rising costs, that is no longer sustainable. Over the last several years, the cost of care for our animals has risen exponentially, but so has need – we are seeing unprecedented levels of animals abandoned, surrendered, or simply stray. cost of food, supplies, medical treatment, staffing, and other needs adds up quickly. Cameron Animal Rescue was formed as a 501c3 non-profit to help with that funding gap, and to ensure that the essential mission of the rescue can continue.
