Venus

Venus is a can-do kind of girl. When she was left outside by her former owners she chose a new family, introduced herself, and engineered her own rescue. Although they couldn’t keep her, they made sure she got to safety at Cameron Animal Rescue. Now she is ready for her forever home.

Venus is smart, friendly, and always engaged. One of the first things you notice about her is that she is always watching everything going on around her. Her beautiful yellow eyes are always engaged, and active, and she loves a chance to participate whenever she gets it. She would love to have a window to look out of to bird and people watch. Venus’ intelligence is always apparent. She enjoys many different types of toys and will play with people or other cats, but also entertains herself. She loves exploring new places, checking out new toys, and other activities that engage her brain. Venus is friendly and gentle with people, and enjoys petting and attention, but is also happy to do her own thing. She is good with other cats, although she doesn’t like tackling or wrestling. She hasn’t been tested with dogs, but can be upon request. Although Venus hasn’t had a lot of exposure with young children, she has been good with the calmer kids that she has met.

Venus is approximately 3 years old. She is healthy, FeLV/FIV negative, and is spayed. She has received her full series of FVRCP (distemper) and Rabies vaccines. She has been fecal tested and dewormed. She has been tested for Feline Bartonella. She has been microchipped.
