Puzzle is a friendly, playful boy who happens to have heart disease. But this guy doesn’t let anything slow him down, and you would never know it when you see him run and play. Puzzle came to Cameron Animal Rescue after being surrendered to the New York City Shelter (ACC) when his owner could no longer care for him. Puzzle loves to cuddle, and can’t wait for a family of his own.
Puzzle has hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. This causes the heart muscle to thicken, and then progressively become weaker, and the heart to stretch; this may take many years to occur. Puzzle is currently taking daily medication to keep his heart strong and to keep him healthy. He loves his daily pill pocket, and so far he is doing well.
Puzzle’s funding goal is $2,400
This will fund – Initial echocardiogram; Daily medication; General bloodwork; Recheck with cardiologist
